Computing GitLab Server

This is the DCU School of Computing (SoC) GitLab server.

Access is restricted to students and staff, and subject to all relevant DCU policies.

Project dashboards are here.

Login

• either... select the SoC tab and use your SoC credentials,
• or... use DCU's Microsoft 2FA, below that.

If necessary, you can look up your SoC username and/or reset your SoC password here.

Do not use the Standard tab for logging in (top right).

Remote: HTTP Basic: Access denied Error

Error: "remote: HTTP Basic: Access denied. The provided password or token is incorrect or your account has 2FA enabled and you must use a personal access token instead of a password."

Solution: You can reset your password by clicking here: https://password.computing.dcu.ie. Please note that you can set the new password to the same as your current one if you prefer. Additionally, make sure you're using the correct username when cloning / checking into the repository: https://mydetails.computing.dcu.ie
